16-02-19 This Freddie, he is nearly 3 yrs old and was rehomed almost two years ago now to a lady who is unable to keep him due to her change in circumstances. Freddie is a confused boy and has gone straight to his previous fosterer who has been working hard to resettle him and reassure him. She is making great progress as he arrived very insecure and unable to get on with her dogs but is now doing much better with them with support and guidance.
This chap is reaactive on a lead when he sees dogs but is easily correctable and is improving with time and consistency.
Freddie is clearly not the most straight forward dog and has been allowed to make his own rules rather than be shown good manners. He hasn't been socialised or walked much and he, just like any dog needs this to be able to make sense of the world. He is very unsure how he should behave so panics and makes the wrong choices and has previously resorted to biting to get his own way. For this reason he needs a home with no children and with someone who understands dogs and will show him gently, positively but very firmly how he can behave so he can hve the consistency and training he needs to help him be a better canine citizen and also relax him as he will know where he stands.
Freddie has a huge amount of positives too - this gorgeous boy can sit, give paw, spinand is very responsive. He wants to please you and brain work reallyhits a chord with him and helps him. He could turn his paw easily to a sport like agility.
He is desperate for someone to recognise his potential and give him the second chance he really deserves having been let down so badly. He needs time, patience, guidance, routine - we know it is a  big ask but he will repay your efforts a 100% and love you always.

22-03-19 UPDATE

Freddie has come a long way from when he first arrived. He is now getting on better with the other dogs. Freddie has a lot if energy to burn of, he loves his walks and can do miles. Yesterday I took him to the local harbour town, this was the first time he had been round lots of people, he also got meet my 2yr old granddaughter. He was such a good boy, walked nicely round the shops. Freddie needs someone who will take him to training classes to help socialise him, give him lots of exerice, be firm with him and not give up in him.
