20-9-19 - Meet Enzo! He s a Lab who has come from a breeder. What a handsome chap! He is such a funny character. He is the most happiest boy you could meet and he loves a fuss and when you try to leave he will keep pawing for more. This darlng lad needs to learn all about housetraining and other such home skills but he will take it in his stride. He is a bit sore beteen his legs but our vet will be able to help him when he is neutered. We really think thos boy is so special.... He deserves a loving family who have the time to show him true love.

27-09-19 UPDATE

Enzo is just a huge teddy bear, he loves cuddles and fuss and is so people orientated that Sylvia thinks he has lived in a home at some point, and I agree as he is very nearly kennel clean and I make sure he goes out last thing so he's comfortable through the night.
He loves a belly rub and his back leg goes ten to the dozen, he's quite vocal, murmuring when he's having fuss and his big paw lands on you. I haven't heard him bark and he is quite chilled in kennels, he's kennelled alone at the moment because he has a big cone on, as he had quite a major op when he was neutered, and he accepts this cone with grace.
Enzo was kennelled with a female and they got on fine. Enzo is 47kg and he's not overweight, so you can see he is quite a big lad, but all of him is lovely, he's got a really happy nature and is often smiling, can you tell he's one of my secret favourites? Enzo walks well on the lead and only pulls a little bit, if you want a happy companion then why not consider him. You will need to be a bit strong to hold him should he decide to pull.

07-10-19 UPDATE
Enzo has been through a lot lately, His neuter wasn't the easiest for him and since then he's worn a bigcollar so he cant disturb the stitches with licking. Add to this his homeless status and not having a human to love him unconditionally he really should be a bit cheesed off.
Yet he is the happiest boy here, everything is exciting and wonderful in Enzo's world which is amazing to see.
This big bouncy boy has so much love to give and will add pure fun and happiness to anyone's life.

25-10-19 UPDATE
Gorgeous Enzo is so dreamy and delicious. He’s just the friendliest Labrador. He loves everyone and anything. He loves his grub! He is a big boy for a Labrador but not fat. Loves children, dogs, cats and is good with livestock!

This boy has recall and is good on the lead, albeit a bit strong.

He could live with another dog or live on his own as he’s very people orientated and happy to just be your shadow.

I think this chap must have been someone’s pet at some point in his life

He’s quiet at night and is good in the house. He may steal the odd bit of food but apart from that he’s a good boy!

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

ADOPTION DETAILS
The adoption fee for an adult dog (6 months and over) is £220 and for a puppy is £250, However if the dog has a passport you will be given this when you adopt and we ask for a further £20 to help us buy a passport for another dog.
Large breed dogs over 25kg cost us considerably more  to spay and neuter so if you are adopting a large breed dog we would be very grateful of an extra suggested donation of £10 towards this increased cost to help us keep running.
You will find a break down of what the adoption fee covers under our Adoption Procedures (see link below) If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
