If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

12-10-19 - Lilian is the mother of Sydney and both have arrived here all the way from Romania. She is a very sweet and loving girl. Lilian is very people focused and easy to handle. She could be an only dog in the right circumstances but does get on well with others. She is kennelled currently with Sydney but she can be a little overprotective of him so we will conider homing them separately and she can start looking after herself instead of him all the time. Lilian has a beautiful character. She will need to learn about housetraining and other home skills. She has come a long way to find love, we hope it's everything she dreamed of. Lilian has a passport. We are looking for a home for Lilian with older children - teenagers - or an adult only home.

15-10-19 UPDATE BY SYLVIA

Lilian is a collie type ...with a huge stretch of the imagination! She is mini agility size and she runs like the wind. She is motivated and has the Fire inside her to achieve.
She has passion to love.
She has likeability to die for
Check her out she is gold dust !!!!!

ADOPTION DETAILS
The adoption fee for an adult dog (6 months and over) is £220 and for a puppy is £250, However if the dog has a passport you will be given this when you adopt and we ask for a further £20 to help us buy a passport for another dog.
Large breed dogs over 25kg cost us considerably more  to spay and neuter so if you are adopting a large breed dog we would be very grateful of an extra suggested donation of £10 towards this increased cost to help us keep running.
You will find a break down of what the adoption fee covers under our Adoption Procedures (see link below) If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

In certain circumstances and in particular when it is one of our long term stayers or a dog who is difficult to home we may transport it down the M4 as far as Reading if the adopter is not able to travel for a valid reason. This will only happen on a Sunday and will be part of our Foster Run where we transport dogs to their foster homes. There will be and additional charge of £20 transport fee for this and the adopter must be able to travel to the allocated service station. Please think very carefully before asking for a dog to be transported as if you already have a dog there is no guarantee they will get along with the new dog or vice versa and you will need to be able to hold on to the dog until the following week and meet the van again if you wish to return the dog.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
