If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

08-08-20 Jack is a handsome sighthound who has come Romania to find a loving home. He has come from the same home as Diane where they were kept by a teenage boy who did not keep them in good conditions or feed them well. He was rescued by a local dog lover who found him to be emacitaed, covered in pressure sores and full of ticks. Despite his terrible start, Jack is gentle and friendly boy. He will need a cat free home as he would chase cats and smalll furries. As he is fairly confident we would consider him as an only do in the right circumstances if his new family was around enough to help him settle and learn skills such as housetraining as he has never known home life. This dear boy really deserves a chance at a new, happy life. Passported

23-08-20 UPDATE

Jack is a very special dog to me and is one of my favourites at the centre right now. To be honest, I can’t understand why nobody wants him. He’s extremely affectionate, he’s comical, he’s full of fun and life, and he’s just beautiful inside and out. He’s very human orientated and is literally like a shadow - he follows me around everywhere and wants to be as close to me as possible. I think this is because he’s not had the chance to be affectionate with a human before, and now he can he’s just absolutely loving it! Even though he’s a large dog (the same size as a grey hound), he wants to be a lap dog and would snuggle into you forever if he could. I think he would be the perfect boy to share your sofa and bed with.
Because he is such a large boy and wants a lot of snuggles, it’s probably best if he’s not homed with young children. Even though he’s very gentle and harmless, he is still a big boy. He also can’t be homed with cats. He could be an only dog in the right home - the owners would just have to be home for most of the time. He could also be homed with another larger dog, because he has recently started to play with his kennel friend!
So if you love kisses and snuggles and very affectionate doggies, Jack is 100% the boy for you. He needs to start experiencing the world the way he should be able to ... so PLEASE consider this amazing, beautiful, loving and kind boy.

If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation* and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

* Many Tears uses Vanguard to vaccinate their dogs.  However, this can sometimes be difficult to source at local vets so if you are adopting a dog or puppy that has only had one vaccination please be aware your vets may require you to start the course from the beginning.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
